It's a little over 5 weeks from New Years. How many of you have given up your "New Years Diet Resolution?" Most of us have! Don't beat yourself up! When people train to run a marathon they don't just go out and run 26 miles, they train for months sometimes a year. They first come up with a plan, short term and long term goals. They know it's going to take time to condition their bodies as well as support from family, friends and even a trainer. When you went on your New Years Diet did you have a plan? Did you set short and long term goals? Did you plan for those "occasional" days you knew you'd be tempted? Don't worry most of us didn't. We are human and NOT perfect. Get back up and brush yourself off. Look at what you have been doing. What is working? What isn't? What can you do for yourself? Write it down! Share it with people for accountability.
